Just came home from a great vacation in my home town Seattle, Wa. and am busy getting new merchandise ready to sell and some new quilting and sewing projects lined up.

School is starting in Arizona and it's time to start on those holiday projects.  You know those holiday projects you meant to do last year and ran out of time. While many people celebrate Christmas in July I find that vacations and family time are more important than some other projects. But now the kids are going to be gone. Good time to get started.

Great cotton flannel is wonderful to make children's pajamas, baby receiving blankets, sleep pants, pillow cases, baby quilts and other baby sewing projects.

I have made a number of children's quilts of out this same flannel. They are soft and nice to cuddle with. It quilts wonderfully. I like to use fleece on the back and it makes a great child's quilt.  Rich in color, unique characters and washes great with a little care.
